    Healthy Eight-Treasured Fa Gao

    Ingredients

    • 5g yeast

    • 25g water

    • 25g butter

    • 100g brown sugar

    • 6 pcs grade “A” eggs

    • 150g Jati glutinous rice flour

    • 150g Jati rice flour

    • 1/8 tsp salt

    • 1 tsp black sesame

    • 1 tsp white sesame

    • 1 tsp pumpkin seeds

    • 1 tsp raisins

    • 1 tsp orange peel

    • 1 tsp raisins

    • 1 tsp sunflower seeds

    • 1 tsp chopped red dates

    Directions

    • Add water to yeast plus 1 tbsp sugar, wait for yeast to activate.
    • Melt butter in oven.
    • In a mixer, beat together eggs and brown sugar until thick and foamy.
    • Add in yeast by switching to slower speed.
    • Add in glutinous rice flour, rice flour and salt.
    • Fold in melted butter, black sesame seeds, white sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, raisins, orange peel, raisins, sunflower seeds and chopped red dates.
    • Pour the batter into a baking pan, and allow proofing for 1 hour and 20 minutes precisely.
    • Allow first 10 minutes for preheating. Place the pan into oven and bake for 40 minutes.
    • Once done, overturn the baking pan, slice the bread when it is cool to touch.
