   ecoBrown's Gold Herbal Dumplings (Makes 6-8pcs)
   Ingredients
  • 450g ecoBrown's Gold rice (washed & soaked for 1 hour)
    Filling
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil, 1 clove garlic(chopped), 125ml water, 8g tong kwai, 20g yuk chuk
  • 1 heaped tbsp kei chi
  • 16 pcs chicken breast meat(cut into 2cm lengths each)
  • 8pcs dried chinese mushroom(soaked), 8pcs dried chestnut(soaked and boiled till soft)
Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce, 1/2tsp dark soya sauce, 1/2 tsp ground white pepper, 1/2 tsp chinese 5 pices, 1 tsp salt to taste:
  • 20 pcs dried bamboo leaves(boiled, washed & soaked)
    bamboo hemp string(soaked)

  • 材料(6-8粒)
ecoBrown's Gold养生健康米450克(洗净浸泡1小时)
  • 馅料
A:食油1汤匙、蒜头1瓣(剁碎)、清水125毫升、当归8克、玉竹20克、杞子1汤匙
B:鸡胸肉16片(切成2公分厚)、香菇8片(浸水)、栗子8粒(洗净,浸软)
  • 调味料
蚝油1汤匙、黑酱油1/2茶匙、胡椒粉1/2茶匙、五香粉1/2茶匙、盐1茶匙
粽叶20片、草绳适量(煮软洗净)
  • 馅料做法
1.热油爆香蒜茸,加入清水及所有药材,煮5分钟至滚。
2.加入所有B料及调味料炒至香,熄火。将馅料放置30分钟让它更入味。
Method:
  1. Heat oil, saute garlic until fragrant.
  2. Add water & the herbs,bring to a boil & simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Add pork & seasonings. Turn off heat & let pork marinate in herbal mixture for 30 minutes or more before wrapping.
To assemble:
  1. Drain ecoBrown's Gold rice in a colander, mix rice with some salt.
  2. Take 2 washed bamboo leaves and form a cone.
  3. Line cone with about 1 tablespoon ecoBrown's Gold rice, spreading out.
  4. Stuff in 2 oieces of chicken meat, one chinese mushroom and one chestnut, cover with 1 tbsp ecoBrown's Gold rice.Press down to compress dumpling and wrap up.
  5. Tie tightly with a hemp string.Repeat till all dumplings are tie up.
  6. Bring a large pot of water to a boil,adding salt to the boiling water, immerse these dumplings in the boiling water for 2 hours.
  • 粽子做法
将ecoBrown's Gold养生健康米沥干,加少许盐捞匀,备用。
用两片粽叶折成漏斗状,放入1汤匙ecoBrown's Gold养生健康米,铺上2片鸡肉、1朵香菇及1粒栗子,上面盖上另一匙的ecoBrown's Gold养生健康米,压紧后包裹成三角型,再以草绳绑紧.把所有粽子做好后放入大锅中,加入淹过粽子的水份,并加入适量的盐。水沸后煮约2小时即可
